چکیده
Regularization methods improve the stability of ill-posed inverse problems by introducing some a priori characteristics for solution such as smoothness or sharpness. In this contribution, we propose multidimensional, scale-dependent wavelet-based L1-regularization term to cure ill-posedness airborne (time-domain) electromagnetic induction problem. The regularization is flexible, it can recover blocky, smooth and tunable in-between inversion models, based on suitable wavelet basis function. For each orientation, different function be used, an additional relative parameter. We calibration method determine (an educated initial guess for) parameter, which reduces need optimize and, consequently, overall computation time under control. apply our novel scheme time-domain data set in Belgian saltwater intrusion context, but could equally any other 2D 3D geophysical

3D Inversion of Magnetic Data through Wavelet based Regularization Method
This study deals with the 3D recovering of magnetic susceptibility model by incorporating the sparsity-based constraints in the inversion algorithm. For this purpose, the area under prospect was divided into a large number of rectangular prisms in a mesh with unknown susceptibilities. Tikhonov cost functions with two sparsity functions were used to recover the smooth parts as well as the sharp ...

The majority of existing methods used for the inversion of airborne electromagnetic (AEM) data use what are generally called gradient-based optimization techniques. They typically minimize an objective function comprised of data misfit (e.g. least squares) and model regularization (e.g. roughness) terms. Since the problem is non-linear, an iterative search involving the matrix solution of equat...

due to the remarkable advantages of wavelet transformation, this technique is now very common in gravity analysis. in this research the green’s function occurring in the poisson potential field theory is used to construct non-orthogonal, non-compact, continuous wavelets. this kind of wavelet is directly corresponded to upward continuation procedure. simple geometrical forward models such as sph...

Ultra-short pulse is a promising technology for achieving ultra-high data rate transmission which is required to follow the increased demand of data transport over an optical communication system. Therefore, the propagation of such type of pulses and the effects that it may suffer during its transmission through an optical waveguide has received a great deal of attention in the recent years. We...
